Pulsed Laser‐Initiated Dual‐Catalytic Interfaces for Directed Electroreduction of Nitrite to Ammonia
Electrochemical Nitrite Reductions In article number 2400187, Hyeyoung Shin, Myong Yong Choi, and co-workers use pulsed laser ablation in liquid to synthesize Pd, Pt, Ru, and Ir-CoPi composites in one step for green, selective NH3 synthesis via NO2− reduction. It highlights Ir-CoPi’s efficiency in lowering thermodynamic barriers through O-P site and N-Ir site interactions. By combining in situ electrochemical-Raman spectroscopy with theoretical insights, this research significantly advances sustainable NH3 production and environmental impact.
