Prevalence and Trends of Transfusion-Transmissible HBV Infection Among Blood Donors in Southwestern China: A Six-Year Retrospective Study
Our findings indicate a decreasing trend in HBV prevalence among blood donors in Southwestern China over the 6-year study period. This decline may be attributed to the widespread administration of HBV vaccinations and stringent screening measures implemented by blood donation centers. Continuous monitoring for HBV among blood donors is necessary to evaluate the effectiveness of preventive measures and inform future strategies to reduce transmission.
