Self-Regulation Practices As a Key Determinant of Success in Mathematics Learning
Academic success is significantly influenced by self-regulated learning (SRL), especially in mathematics. The purpose of this research is to investigate how self-regulated behaviours can improve learning outcomes in mathematics. The study investigates the roles that self-monitoring, goal-setting, self-reflection, and motivational beliefs have in mathematical proficiency. The study emphasises how SRL affects students' capacity to control their learning processes, maintain motivation, and do better academically. According to the review, students who use SRL methods have a higher chance of overcoming obstacles, sticking with their problem-solving and developing a deeper comprehension of mathematical ideas. Additionally, the study proposes Teachers can enable students to take charge of their education by incorporating SRL practices into mathematics lessons. This will increase students' academic performance and equip them with lifetime learning abilities.
