Food Preferences of Women during Pregnancy in Lake Areas of the City of Cotonou-Benin
This cross-sectional study involved 230 women, conveniently identified in two public and two private health centers in the lake areas of Cotonou. Pregnant women of at least 12 weeks gestation and women who had given birth less than 12 weeks previously were included and completed a digital questionnaire to collect sociodemographic and dietary data. Simple logistic regression analysis assessed associations between food preference and sociodemographic and cultural variables.
