MODELING OF THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING MODIFIED BITUMEN COMPOSITIONS BASED ON NON-STANDARD MODIFIERS

Road petroleum bitumen produced at oxidation plants does not always satisfy the main consumers with its quality or does not fully meet the requirements of existing state standards. However, improving their performance by introducing specialized polymer modifiers from the manufacturer is an expensive and specific process that requires additional equipment. The article presents the results of research on the influence of various polymer wastes and substandard products in the composition of a composite material on the quality of standard road bitumen.During the research, a polymer bitumen based on a composition without the use of specialized additives was obtained, and a technological model of a modified bitumen production plant was calculated and built according to the proposed method. As a result of the tests, inexpensive and high-quality bitumen with improved rheological characteristics, competitive with traditional polymer-bitumen binders was obtained, and a variant of complex thermal process modeling in the Aspen HYSYS program was proposed, taking into account an extremely small number of studies devoted to the problem of working with solid and semi-solid petroleum products based on this program. At the same time, the result obtained is aimed at solving environmental problems by recycling waste from petrochemical industries.
