Hence, innovations such as tire Pressure Monitoring Systems have become imperative. The objective of the current work is to develop an economical, direct, on-board tire pressure monitor for automotive tire health upkeep. This is achieved through the integration of a pressure sensor and transmitter with an Arduino, and wireless transmission of the data to the dashboard display. While the initial model, tested on a bicycle, effectively displayed tire pressure on the handlebar-mounted LCD screen with an accompanying LED indicating deviations from the standard pressure, the current design has lot of scope for improvement by the utilization of a wireless technologies for the pressure sensors for continuous monitoring of tire pressures in a range of vehicles from two-wheelers to heavy vehicles.
