Exploring the Implementation of Electronic Health Records: A Perspective from the Information Systems Success Model - A Case Study of Z Hospital
Medical records are crucial for tracking clinical staff's actions and aiding decision-making. Traditional paper records have limitations, but electronic medical records (EMRs) offer solutions by digitizing these records. EMRs are utilized by both clinical staff and medical record managers, revolutionizing data collection, file management, and writing practices. This study, based on DeLone and McLean's information system success model, employs semi-structured interviews with Z Hospital's senior management to explore their EMRs implementation. Findings suggest changes in data management, doctor's record-writing practices, and review processes. The study offers insights for future research and practical guidance for EMRs implementation.
