Substantiation of the Rigidity of the Block of Balancing Springs of the Copying Device of a Multi-Variant Cabbage Harvester

The article deals with the particularities of counter-balancing of the part of the weight of a cabbage harvester cutting unit with a spring block for high-quality copying of the soil relief with minimal pressure of the support skis. It is proposed to prevent the “galloping” of the cutting unit by leaving a small part of the weight of the cutting unit unbalanced in its lower extreme position.
