ELECTRIC PULSE METHOD OF ROCK DESTRUCTION AND BLAST WELLS DRILLING
The paper proposes an electric pulse method for rock destruction and drilling blast holes based on microwave radiation generated by a magneto-cumulative generator. A description of an electric pulse method installation with a magneto-cumulative generator, protected by a Russian patent, is provided. Relationships are given for an engineering calculation method during the periods of mastering a new technology and it is shown that the introduction of an innovative technology based on the proposed electric pulse method will allow us to talk about a low dependence of the efficiency of electric pulse drilling on the strength of rocks.
