Influencia de variables climáticas en la presencia de incendios en México, histórico de los años 2005 al 2014
Ten years of data were analyzed including forest fires and climatic data. Theclimatic data came from different sources like CONAGUA, NASA, University ofMemphis and others. Each climatic variable has its own results. A goodcorrelation was observed between forest fires and the affected area, when thenumber of fires exceeds the control capacity of the firefighters the fires becomedisastrous. Catastrophic fires were related to high temperatures, low precipitationand dryness. Best correlations were observed during the dry season especially inApril and May. The relative humidity had low influence and the wind did not haveany influence.
