Influence Analysis of 154kV Substation Using Time-Synchro Phasor Data

KEPCO installed 35 PMUs at the 154kV Yeonggwang substation in Jeollanamdo through an integrated control system construction and verification project in the renewable power generation area. Measures and research are in progress to install multiple PMUs in a substation and easily utilize the vast amount of time-synchronized phasor data obtained from them.<br/>In this paper, we deal with high-precision analysis such as systematic phenomenon analysis and statistical analysis in order to efficiently analyze and utilize time-synchronized phasor data. First, we introduce the PMU-based high-precision monitoring system of the 154kV substation. After collecting time-synchronized phasor data through PDC, to facilitate data analysis, data from 35 separate PMUs are pre-processed in Snapshot form by merging voltage, current, phase, etc based on Timetag. System phenomena are analyzed for a total of six states: normal state, fault state, M.Tr tap-up & tap-down, power generation, and power stop. Compare the power difference between T/L and the secondary side of M.Tr, which is the input and output of the substation. Finally, we would like to perform statistical technique such as boxplot and kernel density based on instantaneous voltage change rate.
