Are We Shortening the Lifespan of Patients: Time to Re-think TAVI in Intermediate and Low-risk Groups?
Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), or replacement (TAVR), has become a cornerstone in the treatment of aortic stenosis, and aortic regurgitation. However, the landscape is rapidly evolving, with growing interest in its application for intermediate and low-risk patients.
