Drei Strophen in Tönen Frauenlobs mit Neumen
Abstract The Metz manuscript 327, written in the beginning of the 14th century, transmits three stanzas in two of Frauenlob’s Töne that were added ca. fifty years later. This article gives a transcription in slightly normalised form as well as a philological and literary commentary. In addition, the musical notation in neumes is edited in a synopsis with the other early versions of the melody. The material is discussed regarding the tradition of stanzas composed by Frauenlob or in his Töne , and with respect to melodies of Sangspruch which are transmitted in neumes.
