Unraveling typical magmatic-hydrothermal ore deposits: progresses of the <?A3B2 pi6?>experimental metallogeny

<p indent="0mm"><?A3B2 tlsb=-.019w?>Magmatic-hydrothermal deposits are significant sources of strategic critical mineral resources including nonferrous metals and rare metals. Their metallogenic processes involved the formation and evolution of magma and hydrothermal fluids, as well as the migration and enrichment of ore-forming elements. The solubilities of these ore-forming elements in the magmatic melt and their partitioning coefficients among minerals, fluids, and the magmatic melt are key factors governing geochemical behaviors of those ore-forming elements in their metallogenic processes. In this paper, we have reviewed recent research advances in experimental metallogeny, focusing on metallogenic processes of typical magmatic-hydrothermal deposits of copper, gold, silver, tungsten, tin, and molybdenum, we have systematically elucidated the key physicochemical factors that affect the enrichment of ore-forming elements in various magmatic-hydrothermal evolution stages, and have finally provided important theoretical support for the in-depth understanding of the genesis and ore-forming processes of magmatic-hydrothermal deposits and the exploration and development of related valuable mineral resources.<?A3B2 tlsb?>
