Abstract

The hypothesis proposed in this research is that there are aspects of conscientious objection to abortion that, as they are not sufficiently regulated, represent a serious obstacle to women’s access to voluntary interruption of pregnancy with full guarantees within the Public System. of health. The intention underlying our study is to make theoretical contributions that can serve as a basis for a correct regulation of conscientious objection, with the ultimate goal of effectively providing full guarantees within the Public Health System for a health service that is being implemented. configuring as a fundamental right, such as the voluntary interruption of pregnancy. Without a doubt, addressing this issue seems like a collective need and a question of human rights, since it directly affects the citizenship status of women. In short, research into the issues addressed here is key to contributing to the democratic quality of our country.
