Domestic Tourist Satisfaction Toward Kelantanese Cuisine in Kelantan

This study explores the domestic tourist satisfaction with the Kelantanese cuisine in Kelantan. Local cuisines play a vital role in creating tourist destinations, boosting tourism, and becoming one of the tourism products and attractions. Kelantan is widely known for its comprehensive range of foods, bold flavours, aromatic herbs, and spices, emphasizing rice-based dishes. However, limited studies focus on Kelantan's local food heritage, especially concerning tourist satisfaction. The study aims to identify customer satisfaction with Kelantan cuisine in Kelantan. The nature of the study is quantitative, and an online survey is used as an instrument. Data was collected using simple random sampling from 285 respondents who have experienced Kelantan’s food while visiting Kelantan. Based on this finding, this study successfully identified that affordable prices, food quality, and the uniqueness of food significantly influence tourist satisfaction with Kelantan cuisine in Kelantan. The result also provides more information and understanding for future research.
