Precarization of working conditions of professionals in the 21st century
The article presents some concepts and adjectives that have been attributed to precarization and some of its manifestations throughout the 20th century and, above all, in the first two decades of the 21st century. The collection has been based on the literature of different countries, especially from the analysis of the areas of Sociology of Work and Sociology of Professions. It is concluded that precarization consists of progressive declines in working conditions as a result of strategies of devaluation of work; being, thus, an inherent and changing phenomenon of capitalism. Theories about deprofessionalization and proletarianization were some of the analyzes of professional precarization in the 20th century. Therefore, the 21st century points to other forms of precarization of professionals in the labor market.
