Peculiarities of using artificial intelligence technologies in improving teaching activities

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on improving teaching activities in higher education institutions. It has been established that teachers, as mentors and experts, play key roles in stimulating the intellectual and professional development of higher education students. Particular attention should be given to the critical comprehension of information and development of independent learning and research skills. This study shows that an interactive approach, including dialogue, discussion and critical analysis, contributes to a deeper understanding of the educational material and the development of analytical and communication skills. The integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process allows for optimized curriculum management, improved quality of interaction with higher education students, and the introduction of innovative teaching methods. Artificial intelligence can analyze large amounts of data on the performance of higher education students, allowing teachers to adapt curricula to meet individual needs of each student. This makes learning more personalized and effective because teachers can pinpoint which aspects of the curriculum require additional attention or reinforcement. In addition, artificial intelligence helps automate routine tasks such as grading and managing learning materials, thus freeing faculty members’ time to engage more deeply with students. Teachers can use this time to conduct research, mentor, and develop innovative teaching methods that improve the quality of education. The use of artificial intelligence also contributes to more effective monitoring and evaluation of academic progress, allowing teachers to respond quickly to students’ needs and provide them with the necessary support. In general, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in the educational process helps prepare higher education students for a dynamic labor market, ensuring their competitiveness and the development of professional and personal qualities. It also stimulates students’ active participation in research, enhancing their ability to think critically, analyze information, and become lifelong learners. Given these developments, teaching in higher education institutions is becoming more multifaceted and requires continuous professional development and skills improvement to meet the requirements of the modern educational environment.
