Digital innovations in education: a step into virtual reality

Problems related to the use of digital technologies in the process of training future teachers in the linguistic and literary branches of education are explored from the perspectives of relevance and relevance. Digitization processes transform the social and economic structures of the modern world and are actively being developed in Ukrainian education and require systemic changes in the content of education, methods and organization of the learning process. An analysis of the current state of the digitization process made it possible to develop theoretical and practical systems for equipping and introducing digital technologies into the educational process. This article explores the potential of immersive methods as a virtual learning space for students of higher education, particularly in the training of language and literature teachers. The use of virtual reality platforms in English communication stimulates future teachers’ creativity and provides an opportunity for experimentation with teaching methods. Information and communication technologies provide new perspectives for the modernization of the educational process at the stages of managing educational processes, ensuring the scientific and methodical processes of knowledge acquisition, skills formation and abilities. Currently, the implementation of digital technologies is a priority direction for the development of education in Ukraine. Imperative learning involves changing a real learning environment to a synthetic virtual environment. The technologies of partial or full immersion in the virtual world are only part of the educational process, but when preparing future teachers, it is necessary to familiarize them with promising methods of the near future. Immersive technologies create the effect of partial or full presence in the virtual world, as well as the acquisition or changing of experiences in various fields of science and culture. Immersive technologies such as augmented (AR) and virtual (VR) reality are changing education for learning subjects because explanations of the material occur in the plane of real time with visual effects.
