A Study on the Relationship Between the Factors of Leaving Small Businesses and the Intention of Turnover - For MZ Generation New Employees -
Today, the sophistication of information and communication technology has resulted in automation, and related industries such as robotics and sensor technology are developing by leaps and bounds. However, the reduction of human resources through automation is a problem for large and medium-sized companies, and small and medium-sized companies are facing a serious problem due to the lack of human resources.Especially in areas where it is impossible to replace foreign workers, young human resources, called Generation MZ, pass through the difficult gateway of employment and often leave SMEs for various reasons, even as new employees, so the difficulty of operating SMEs is increasing, and it is emerging as one of the most difficult problems for SMEs to solve themselves. This study is a study that selects five factors for the departure of new employees of Generation MZ SMEs through prior research and tests their relevance to turnover intentions, and started from the problem of human resource management caused by the departure of new employees of Generation MZ SMEs.The study was conducted on 200 new employees of Generation MZ in SMEs with less than 50 employees in the Daejeon area, and after removing 5 non-responses and insincere questionnaires, a total of 195 questionnaires were statistically processed using SPSS28.0 and AMOS28.0.Based on previous studies, five factors were selected as turnover factors: personal characteristic differences, education and training programs, job fit, performance reward system, and supervisor relationship, and their relationship with turnover intention was analyzed. The results showed that personal characteristic differences, supervisor relationship, and performance reward system had a significant effect on MZ generation new employees, but job fit and education and training program had no effect. This study identifies the factors that cause MZ generation SMEs' new employees to leave the company and shows that human aspects such as relationships and communication are more important in SMEs than work itself.
