Creativity plays a vital role in advancing various fields, including the national economy and technology. Educational innovation and stimulating students' curiosity, imagination, and creativity have become focal points in educational reform. This study investigates the impact of project-based learning (PBL) on developing students' writing creativity. By examining the effectiveness of PBL in nurturing students' core competencies and creativity, the research sheds light on the importance of integrating creative problem-solving within authentic contexts. Through a comprehensive analysis of creativity within specific knowledge domains, the study emphasizes the significance of discipline-specific creativity, particularly in the realm of Chinese language writing. Findings suggest that PBL enhances students' interdisciplinary literacy, problem-solving abilities, and creativity, offering valuable insights for educators seeking to cultivate students' writing creativity through innovative pedagogical approaches.
