Production and Biological Activity of Chitosan Nanoascorbate

This review highlights the possibility of forming nanoparticles based on chitosan and ascorbic acid by ionotropic gelation, ultrasonic dispersion, and electrospinning. The analysis of modern scientific literature on the production of chitosan ascorbate nanoparticles and investigation of their physicochemical properties and biological activity is presented. The principal possibility of obtaining chitosan ascorbate nanoparticles from chitosan by electrospinning is demonstrated.
