First person – Paco López-Cuevas

ABSTRACT First Person is a series of interviews with the first authors of a selection of papers published in Journal of Cell Science, helping researchers promote themselves alongside their papers. Paco López-Cuevas is first author on ‘ Reprogramming macrophages with R848-loaded artificial protocells to modulate skin and skeletal wound healing’, published in JCS. Paco conducted the research described in this article while a postdoc in Paul Martin's lab at School of Biochemistry, University of Bristol, University Walk, Bristol, UK. He is now a postdoc in the lab of Richard White at Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research, University of Oxford, Oxford, UK, investigating zebrafish models of human diseases.
