Design of Multiobjective Optimization Clustering Method for Hypervelocity Impact Complex Damage Detection
This article focuses on the damage detection of complex defects caused by hypervelocity impact. With the increase in space exploration activities, detecting and evaluating impact damage have become crucial in spacecraft protection research. In this article, a new hypervelocity impact detection method is proposed, which utilizes infrared data extraction techniques with a multiobjective optimization algorithm. The method aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of spacecraft damage detection by extracting representative data from infrared sequences. This article discusses the problem of infrared feature extraction of different defect regions. Different objective functions are designed from the capacity and distribution of infrared data from defective regions to make the typical transient temperature response (TTR) more representative. In our experiments, we applied the method proposed to achieve multiobjective infrared feature extraction on HVI specimen and further successfully obtained reconstructed images of different defect regions. Finally, the defect detection is finalized through segmentation.
