Tunable long-wave infrared filters based on a dense array of resonance cavities and phase-change materials
We present polarization and angle insensitive tunable, long-wave infrared filters based on a dense array of phase change resonators. Patterning arrays with different heights and diameters readily tune the baseline resonant wavelength and linewidth of the spectral response, while annealing the PCM at different temperatures can further tune the resonant wavelength.
