Flexible Thermochromic Coatings for Thermal Management

Thermochromic coatings containing VO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> have been proposed for a wide range of thermal management applications from spacecraft radiators to smart windows. To meet these needs, we have developed a technique for transferring VO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf> films onto on polymers or other lower temperature substrates.
