Retratos camponeses a partir da história oral

This work aimed to understand, through thematic oral history, the educational and non-educational trajectories between work, education, and religiosity of our interlocutor, Grandma Paulina. The study is qualitative, based on oral history and descriptive analysis. As a theoretical support, we engaged in dialogues with the work of Marin (2018), Stropasolas (2006), Salles (2005), and Camargo, Scorsolini-Comin, Santos (2018), among others, to have a better understanding of our thematic field. By identifying the context in which Grandma Paulina was embedded and all its biases, we noticed the intersection of rural education perspectives. We highlight that our collaborator lived through an education model based on work, in which she was inserted since childhood, needing to learn how to deal with the land early on, initially working in agriculture and later, in her adult life, balancing between the farm and working with her gift, through religiosity. It is important to note that studies of this nature will show that we have a lot to advance in constructing other perspectives on childhood so that stories like Grandma Paulina's are only transcribed in narratives carried out in research by her granddaughters, who now occupy public universities in Brazil.
