Thematic Sightseeing Guides for Constituent Entities of the Russian Federation as a Russian Domestic Tourism Development Source

The study is devoted to the problem of determining ways to develop domestic tourism in Russia through the preparation and placement on a single information portal of information about the attractions of Russian Federation regions. It has been established that until now such guidebooks that would allow tourists to get acquainted with the sights of Russian Federation regions have not been developed, and there is no definition of this term in the legislation. Meanwhile, a systematic presentation of information about tourist sites in Russian regions would allow developing their potential in the field of domestic tourism by increasing interest in visiting the sights of Russian Federation territorial entities. The authors come to the conclusion about the importance of developing thematic guides (natural, cultural attractions, industrial facilities, transport infrastructure) in order to reveal the resources of Russian Federation regions and their wealth for tourists.
