Frontispiz: The “Pull Effect” of a Hanging ZnII on Improving the Four‐Electron Oxygen Reduction Selectivity with Co Porphyrin
Electrocatalysis. A four-electron oxygen reduction reaction electrocatalyst is reported by Haiping Lin, Rui Cao et al. in their Communication (e202409793). Spectroscopic and theoretical studies suggest that the ZnII ion can assist the binding of O2 at the CoII porphyrin site and promote O–O bond cleavage.
