Cu-polymetallic deposit exploration under thick cover in Gucheng-Yaxi Area using audio magnetotelluric and spread spectrum induced polarization
Geophysical exploration of deep seated deposits is generally increasing. In this work, we present audio magnetotelluric (AMT) and spread-spectrum induced polarization (SSIP) data that detected new concealed copper-polymetallic ore bodies in Gucheng-Yaxi area, Gaochun District, Jiangsu Province, China. Two dimensional interpretation based on independent inversion of the two data sets provided the most suitable mineralized locations for borehole verification that encountered ore bodies at depth greater than 400 m.
