Application of combined modeling and inversion of well-electric-seismic in complex structural belt of Sichuan Basin
Previous drilling indicates that there are significant errors in the prediction of the structural depth of the strata in the front zone of Longmen Mountain in western Sichuan, and it is difficult to image the low signal-to-noise ratio blank reflection zone, resulting in uncertain structural styles, unreasonable structural forms, and unimplemented structural traps. Electromagnetic methods have great advantages in reflecting the macroscopic stratigraphic structure based on the differences and variation trends of formation resistivity, and can complement seismic exploration results in structural modeling. As an important quantitative interpretation method for seismic and electromagnetic exploration, joint inversion of well-electrical-seismic data can reduce the ambiguity and limitations of single geophysical methods in solving complex underground geological problems, and improve the reliability of seismic and electromagnetic data interpretation. This article uses high-power wide-area electromagnetic methods to detect the response characteristics of the strata in the front zone of Longmen Mountain, and combines drilling, seismic and other data in the work area to conduct joint modeling inversion and comprehensive interpretation of well-electrical-seismic data, in order to support seismic imaging processing and subsequent identification of favorable areas for oil and gas exploration.
