Application of aero geophysical and remote sensing techniques in geological survey of West Kunlun
The West Kunlun metallogenic belt is located on the northwest edge of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, with a high altitude, steep terrain, and extremely inconvenient transportation, making it difficult to conduct regional geological survey. Therefore, there are many gaps in basic geological survey in the West Kunlun metallogenic belt. To solve this difficult problem, we full play the advantages of aero geophysical and remote sensing techniques, comprehensively utilize advanced technologies and methods of aero geophysical and remote sensing techniques, and carry out basic geological survey research in the Subashi area of West Kunlun, Xinjiang. We rapidly interpret or infer regional structures, stratigraphic lithology, and distribution characteristics of magmatic rocks, filling the gap of 1:50000 regional geological survey, deepening regional basic geological understanding, and serving a new round of breakthrough strategic action in mineral exploration.
