Research and application of joint inversion of 2D audio magnetotelluric and magnetic data

Conducted a study on the joint regularization inversion of two-dimensional audio magnetotelluric (AMT) and magnetic survey (MAG) data. In cases where the lithology in the surveyed area exhibits high magnetization properties, the influence of magnetization on audio magnetotelluric observation data cannot be overlooked. Consequently, utilizing audio magnetotelluric method (AMT) and magnetic survey (MAG) data, separate investigations were carried out, including joint inversion scenarios where AMT considers only resistivity in conjunction with MAG, and where AMT simultaneously considers both resistivity and magnetic permeability in joint inversion with MAG. This approach proves advantageous in mitigating the non-uniqueness of the inverse problem and enhancing inversion accuracy. Building upon this foundation, to achieve mutual constraints between resistivity and magnetic permeability, cross-gradient and FCM clustering constraints were introduced separately in the joint inversion process.
