REVIEW OF THE BOOK: CHIRIKOV, EVGENY.ECHO OF WAR /
A new edition of E.N. Chirikov’s book Echo of War , out of print since 1915, has been published. The collection of stories and essays by the author littleknown nowadays is devoted to the First World War and its perception by Russian society. The book fills the lacunas in the general picture of the literary process of the first decades of the 20 th century, and constitutes an important event in the study of writer’ heritage; one can hope it will attract readers to Chirikov.
