Ultrasound Discrimination Between Placenta Accreta Spectrum and Urinary Bladder Varices

It is important to distinguish between the 2 before birth, however, because each requires a different treatment. In this opinion piece, the authors outline how they make the diagnosis and note that a definitive diagnosis can be made only during surgery.
