Developmental Anesthesia Neurotoxicity: Lessons From the Heart

Several studies have already been performed resulting in negligible or no differences for single or short exposures to anesthetics in healthy children, but additional research is needed for longer anesthetic exposures or in children who have more elaborate medical issues that require surgery.
