Gambaran Kadar Timbal (Pb) dalam Urin Pak Ogah di Sepanjang Jalan Pantura Kabupaten Pemalang

Lead (Pb) is one of the heavy metals that poses a significant health risk to humans as a hazardous pollutant. Lead pollution is a major concern because it can persist for a lifetime and accumulate in the human body. Even low-dose exposure to lead pollution can cause bodily harm, even if no clinical symptoms are present. Prolonged accumulation in the human body can lead to disease. Long-term exposure to lead can affect various organ systems, including the circulatory system, nervous system, kidneys, reproductive system, and digestive tract. This study aims to measure the lead levels in the urine of "Pak Ogah" along the northern coastal road of Pemalang Regency. This descriptive study was conducted to determine the lead levels in the urine of "Pak Ogah." Respondents were selected through purposive sampling, with a total of six respondents. Urine samples were collected from each respondent and analyzed for lead content using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) at a wavelength of 283.31 nm. The results showed that 100% of the respondents had lead levels exceeding the normal threshold of 0.15 mg/L, with an average value of 0.625 mg/L. The highest lead concentration was found in sample S4, with a urine lead level of 1.200 mg/L, while the lowest was found in sample S5, with a urine lead level of 0.306 mg/L.
