Combination of transcriptomics and proteomics for analyzing potential biomarker and molecular mechanism underlying skeletal muscle atrophy
The present study holds the subsequent significance: Frist, we investigated biomarkers for skeletal muscle atrophy using multi-omics approach. A total of 14 genes were markedly different in skeletal muscle atrophic mice. We finally found Cd9 is a potential biomarker for skeletal muscle atrophy. Our work presents novel biomarkers and potential regulatory mechanisms for the early detection and intervention of muscle atrophy.
