Effective Prevention of Palladium Metal Particles Sintering by Histidine Stabilization on Silica Catalyst Support (Adv. Funct. Mater. 34/2024)
Metal Nanoparticles Sintering Prevention In article number 2402983, Jungkyu Choi, Alex C. K. Yip, and co-workers present an effective method to stabilize Pd nanoparticles on a silica support using histidine, maximizing catalytic activity and preventing sintering. The method can potentially be applied to a wide range of catalytically active metal nanoparticles, opening new avenues for research in catalyst design and applications.
