Multidimensional Data Encoding Based on Multicolor Microencapsulated Thermoresponsive Fluorescent Phase Change Materials (Adv. Funct. Mater. 34/2024)
Multidimensional Data Encoding In article number 2402510, Jaume Ramon Otaegui, Jordi Hernando, Claudio Roscini, and co-workers obtain thermoresponsive multistate fluorescent emission from polymer films embedding core-shell microcapsules, loaded with a mixture of phase change materials (PCM) and a fluorescent dye. The combination of microcapsules containing different dyes and PCMs within the pixels allows for a straightforward construction of high security 3D information encryption and 4D data storage materials, whose state is controlled by suitable current application.
