A Hybrid Biofuel Cell with High Power and Operational Stability Using Electron Transfer‐Intensified Mediators and Multi‐Interaction Assembly (Adv. Energy Mater. 32/2024)
Hybrid Biofuel Cells In article 2401255, Yoon Jang Chung, Young-Bong Choi, Cheong Hoon Kwon, Jinhan Cho, and co-workers present a novel type of natural fiber-based hybrid biofuel cell that utilizes electron transfer-intensified redox mediator layers and multi-interaction assembly. This approach significantly enhances electron transfer and interfacial robustness between host electrode and enzymes, as well as between adjacent enzymes, resulting in exceptionally high power output and excellent operation stability.
