ASPECTOS DA QUALIDADE DE VIDA NO TRABALHO EM UMA ORGANIZAÇÃO CONTÁBIL: UM OLHAR SOBRE A PERSPECTIVA DAS MULHERES

This study examines the aspects of Quality of Work Life (QWL) from the perspective of women working in an accounting organization located in Uberlândia, MG. The research is descriptive in nature and was conducted through a case study. Initially, a bibliographic review was carried out on the proposed topic, covering its origin, evolution, key concepts, existing theoretical models, and a brief contextualization of the insertion of women accountants into the labor market. Subsequently, a field study was conducted, with data collected through questionnaires administered to the organization's female employees. The theoretical model proposed by Walton was used to verify, measure, and analyze the data, as it encompasses various variables and indicators related to social and working conditions within an organizational context. The results indicate that the QWL in the studied accounting firm is perceived as good or excellent by its female employees, although some areas require improvement. Notably, the dimension of fair and adequate compensation stands out, as there are reported dissatisfactions regarding remuneration and wage inequality among employees at the same hierarchical level.
