NAVEGANDO NAS ONDAS DO TRANSTORNO DO DÉFICIT DE ATENÇÃO/HIPERATIVIDADE (TDAH): DESAFIOS E ESTRATÉGIAS

This text explores therapeutic approaches for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), highlighting the importance of an integrative and personalized strategy. Stimulants are effective, but it is crucial to manage side effects such as loss of appetite and insomnia. Psychoeducation is essential, providing clear information to family members and educators to create a supportive environment for treatment. Psychotherapeutic interventions, especially cognitive-behavioral approaches, are effective both in the core symptoms of ADHD and in the management of challenging behaviors. Despite advances, challenges such as in response to medications and adherence to treatment still persist. The problem researched was based on: how can the combination of pharmacological treatments, psychotherapeutic and psychoeducational interventions be optimized to improve the quality of life of patients diagnosed with ADHD and their families, considering individual and contextual variables? The specific objectives proposed were: to analyze the effectiveness of the combination of pharmacological treatments and psychotherapeutic interventions in patients diagnosed with ADHD. Identify individual and contextual factors that influence response to combined treatment. Develop guidelines for implementing psychoeducational strategies that support the management of ADHD in diverse settings. This study adopts an exploratory bibliographic research methodology with a qualitative approach, including field and descriptive research, following a hypothetical-deductive and non-experimental model. This approach was considered the most viable for the proposed objectives. The results obtained are satisfactory, but it is recognized that there are several other aspects and research possibilities for future studies, allowing greater depth on the topic.
