Enhancing Collaboration in the Digital Sector: Testing Commercialization Tools and MVP Identification for Researchers and University Spin-Offs in Sarawak
Research commercialization in Sarawak-based universities offers significant potential for economic growth and innovation in Malaysia's digital landscape. This proposal emphasizes the critical role of commercialization tools and Minimal Viable Product (MVP) identification in fostering collaboration between academia, spin-offs, and industry partners. Utilizing frameworks like the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas enables systematic evaluation of innovations and market opportunities, enhancing communication with industry stakeholders. MVP identification streamlines the commercialization process by validating concepts with minimal resources, reducing risks, and accelerating market entry. Collaborative efforts, supported by these tools, promote entrepreneurship and knowledge exchange, driving innovation in Sarawak's digital ecosystem. By embracing strategic commercialization methodologies, stakeholders can unlock Sarawak's potential as a dynamic hub for digital entrepreneurship and innovation, contributing to regional competitiveness and sustainability.
