SIMULATION OF THE STRESS STRAINE STATE OF THE SPATIAL GALLERY OF THE CHEMICAL PRODUCTION WHICH HAS THE CORROSION DAMAGE FOR RATIONAL REINFORCEMENT
The article deals with the solution of an importantscientific and practical problem of modeling the stressstrainstate of building structures of an industrial metalgallery, which is part of the general technological lineof production and overloading of mineral fertilizers. The building structures of the research object – thetransport gallery – were built on the territory ofJSC "OPP" in the Yuzhne town, Odesa region. Metalconstructions of the gallery support the constructionsof belt conveyors (transporters) and constructions ofprotective cladding. Conveyors are located inside thegallery and are designed for overloading in bulk orin urea bags. The article contains a detailed technical descriptionof the construction of the gallery, which is a spatialrod metal structure consisting of four flat frames(roof, walls and bottom) which rests on a system ofhinged movable and fixed supports. The bottomlevel sheathed by shell with rhombic corrugation, thecladding of the metal frame on the other three sidesis decided in the form of a corrugated board. Thearticle has given the typical defects and damage tothe building, discovered during the inspection. Theirsystemic nature has been emphasized. The articledetermines the localization of defects and the degreeof wear and tear of the main building structures ofthe galleries on the basis of instrumental studies, the technical condition. During the examination ithas been found that, as a result of the destructiveeffect of moist sea air with microparticles of mineralfertilizers suspended in it, individual structures of thegallery have suffered significant losses from corrosionand are in a state of emergency or unsuitable fornormal operation. Detailed finite-element models ofthe stress-strain state of the gallery under the actionof a complex of static and dynamic climatic andtechnological influences were developed on the basisof the measurements and survey results. The scientific analysis of the modeling results provedthat the gallery, as a whole, and individual, most wornelements cannot perceive the design effects on thestructure, taking into account the normative reliabilitycoefficients. It has been emphasized that due to thelack of alternative methods of overloading of urea, the gallery cannot be completely decommissionedduring the reinforcement period. When solvingthe problem, the following methods have beenused: visual inspection, measurements of structures, determination of corrosion wear of structures byultrasonic method, finite-element modeling of thestress-strain state using the CAD toolkit - SCADSoft, verification calculations of the metal framecomponents of the gallery. The rational method of strengthening the metalstructures of the gallery has been offered, based on theresults of the survey, modeling and strength designs, which consists in temporarily reducing the loadson the conveyor system (up to 50% of the design),unloading the main defective joints of the belts, safeinstallation and inclusion in the work of additionalreinforcement structures without dismantling theexisting ones damaged by corrosion. The specifiedresults can be extended to most similar long-spanmetal technological gallery type structures due totheir structural and technological versatility.
