Research on Mediated Control Strategy of Hybrid Power System
Hybrid power system has shown good results in the field of vehicle energy saving. However, due to the difficulty in obtaining information such as engine control unit (ECU) core data, it brings great difficulties to the research and development of hybrid vehicles. A mediated control method and strategy of hybrid power system is proposed. The vehicle operation information is adjusted by mediate control unit (MCU) and then sent to ECU, so as to realize the cooperative control between the main power and the secondary power. Researchers only need to obtain the fuel characteristics of the main power source or calibrate them to achieve energy management between the main power source and the secondary energy source. The reasonableness and effectiveness of the proposed intermediate control method are verified by the experimental research on the hydraulic hybrid test bench. This study provides a new way for the development of hybrid electric vehicles and other equipment.
