Optimization study of ultrasonic vibration extrusion process parameters for 304 stainless steel shaft parts

In order to explore the optimal parameter range for the surface machining of ultrasonic vibratory extrusion shaft artifacts, a surface property prediction model and a multi-objective optimization method based on ultrasonic vibratory extrusion machining are proposed. Experiments using ultrasonic vibratory extrusion machining were carried out on 304 stainless steel material, and a surface property prediction model was established based on the response face test results, and the objective function was optimized using the NSGA II multi-objective genetic algorithm. The optimization results show that the specimen surface hardness, surface roughness and residual stress can also be effectively controlled in the appropriate processing parameter domain.NSGA II algorithm can improve the processing quality, productivity and processing efficiency of ultrasonic vibration extrusion machining, which helps to promote the application and development of ultrasonic vibration extrusion machining technology in industrial production.
