Anisotropy of functional properties of titanium nickelide after rolling

The accumulation of phase strain during direct thermoelastic martensitic transformation and structural strain under loading in the martensitic inelasticity mode in three directions relative to the rolling direction (0, 45, 90°) has been experimentally studied for thin-sheet titanium nickelide. For the case of uniaxial tension, approximating functions are proposed that describe the direct transformation and martensitic inelasticity diagrams with sufficiently accurate values of material parameters. It is found that for all directions in the sheet plane, the direct transformation diagram is located higher along the deformation axis than the martensitic inelasticity diagram.
