In the process of urbanization, the needs of cities often lead to environmental destruction. This is not conducive to sustainable urban development. Environmental restoration and management are necessary to promote sustainable urban development. As one of the most urbanized regions in China, the Yangtze River Delta has a guiding role in the national sustainable development process.
