Grinding‐Induced Water Solubility Exhibited by Mechanochromic Luminescent Supramolecular Fibers (Small 33/2024)
Supramolecular Fibers The mechanochromic luminescence supramolecular fibers are described. The water-insoluble supramolecular fibers consist of dumbbell-shaped amphiphiles and show green emission. Upon grinding in the solid state, the supramolecular fibers are converted into an amorphous solid consisting of micellar molecular assemblies with yellow excimer emission. After dissolved in water, the micelles and yellow emission are well preserved. More In article number 2400063, Yoshimitsu Sagara and co-workers.
